First Annual Provencal Barbecue

This South-of-France-style barbecue will feature Chefs Bob Hurley & Peter Hall, roasting rosemary-garlic legs of lamb, accompanied by tasty accoutrements from fabulous local chefs including: Elaine Bell, Laurent Berthon, Philipe Jeanty, Cindy Pawlcyn, Sara Scott, Melissa Teaff & Jude Wilmoth. Enjoy appetizers, desserts, live music and abundant wine!

Proceeds will benefit the Axel Fabre Memorial Fund at Cope Family Center, supporting the special, unanticipated needs of at-risk children through Cope's Drop-In and Emergency Aid Program.

Meadowood, St. Helena, 2:00pm

For the first time, Music in the Vineyards and Meadowood are presenting a one hour concert for children ages 4 to 12. With an emphasis on informality and fun, the concert opens with an introduction to the instruments of the string family, with demonstrations and frequent interactions with the audience. The concert will close with a performance of "Gertrude McFuzz", a classic Dr. Seuss story of the girl-bird who learns to like herself just as she is, presented in a lively musical style combining jazz, pop, and classical influences. Following the concert, age-appropriate refreshments will be served.
