volunteer Appreciation Block Party (September 2018)

On Friday, September 7, 2018 we held our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party. The theme was superheroes in honor of all our volunteer hard work throughout the year, helping to "save the day." Our volunteers do so much, from organizing files and supporting our administrative staff, to helping provide services when disaster struck last October during the fires. We are so thankful for all that they do for us and for the families we serve - thank you volunteers!

We'd also like to give special thanks to all of the people who help us put on this great party to celebrate our volunteers. Thank you Jim and Kaya of the Napa General Store for providing the delicious food, service and the amazing venue, and to Gina and Cooke Orthodontics for providing an awesome superhero themed photo booth for our guests. Thank you to Laird Family Estate and Lagunitas Brewing Co for donating the wine and beer for the party. Special shout outs to the many businesses who donated items to our volunteer gift bags in recognition of all their hard work: Alkar Human Resources, Mechanics Bank, NAPA Valley Coffee Roasting, Wine Down Media 1440 KVON, and Office Depot - Napa 948. And last, but certainly not least, we'd like to thank Lizzy of Photos by Lizzy for donating her time and skills to taking these incredible pictures for us to share and commemorate the celebration with.

Holiday Glam & Giving (Cancelled - December 2017)

Due to the Napa Complex Fires that have devastated our community, Holiday Glam & Giving 2017, originally scheduled for Sunday, December 3rd, has been cancelled. We are heartbroken that many of our beloved guests and supporters have been directly impacted by the fires and understand that this is a sensitive time for all.

Additionally, Cope Family Center continues to have an important role in the fire relief and recovery efforts. While we are sad to not kick off the holidays with our festive event, we feel that it is important to focus our staff, volunteer and financial resources towards meeting the needs of our community in whatever capacity we can.
