BLUE RIBBON MONTH
PINWHEEL DISPLAYS

Every April, Cope Family Center and the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Napa County (CAPC) commemorate Blue Ribbon Month to raise awareness about child abuse and the effects it has on the victims and our community. This year, Cope has partnered with several public agencies throughout Napa County to display pinwheel installations.

The pinwheel is another symbol for child abuse prevention, representing the joyful and carefree childhoods we wish for all children to have. Each location has 109 pinwheels to represent the number of substantiated victims of child abuse and neglect there were in Napa County last year.
